His real name was George R. Clement, born on February 7, 1878, in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, USA. He passed away in 1970 in a motorcycle accident at the age of 92. Throughout his life, he served as a minister, civil servant, lawyer, and chiropractor.

He devoted many years to studying spirituality and health practices, gathering extensive information and visiting enlightened masters. A fruitarian and breatharian himself, he published several influential works, including *Awakening the World Within*, *The Great Law*, *The Secret of Regeneration*, and *The Magic Temple*.

Hotema lived a very mysterious life. Aside from publishing his books, he kept a low profile and lived in seclusion. According to his friends and relatives, he was not only a healer but also a musician capable of making violins. He remained in excellent physical condition — even building his own house at the age of 78.

The Importance of Breathing

Humans of the Dark Age:
1. They migrated to lower altitudes, discovered and began to consume fruit (symbolized by Adam and Eve eating the apple).
2. The air was no longer fresh, higher in carbon dioxide, and people became sluggish and lifeless.

Where Is the Civilized World?
Slaves of commercial civilization: working every day without time for exercise or learning; their thoughts and awareness are controlled, and their spirituality cannot awaken.
Artificial environments: towering buildings, dark and narrow streets, the pervasive smell of gasoline, coal dust, toxic fumes, noise pollution, and crowded masses of people.
Eating and drinking have become deliberate, controlled behaviors — much like the example of drug addiction.The cause of aging and death: we eat to avoid dying, yet in doing so, we are actually seeking death!

Where Do Living Cells Come From?
The atoms that form human cells are identical to those that compose stones and stars.
The mother cell creates the human body through repeated cellular division; new cells are not produced from food.
When cells decompose, they produce fluids (expelled through the kidneys, lungs, and skin) and gases (the majority, released through the lungs).
When a person dies, their tissues, mitochondria, and organs decompose. The cells that make up these structures also disintegrate, while the undying cells return to the cosmic ether — their original source. These cells are eternal.

Blood — The Body’s Transport System

2. Aging and death occur because the circulatory system becomes polluted and waste accumulates excessively within the body.
3. Excretion is far more important than ingestion — if the kidneys stop purifying the blood, death occurs within 3 to 5 minutes!

How to Reverse Aging
Drugs, vaccines, serums, and tonics will not make you younger.
Polluted air, contaminated water, hard or chlorinated water, tobacco, alcohol, excessive physical labor, exposure to summer heat, and indulgent lifestyles — all accelerate aging. Once these habits stop, the body begins to recover!
Moving to a better living environment allows the physical signs of aging to truly reverse.
No type of food harms the body more than those containing salt; it greatly accelerates the aging process.

Refined Salt — The Source of All Diseases
Refined salt, a sodium compound, is an inorganic mineral that animals cannot absorb. It enters the body as salt and leaves as salt — a deadly irritant. Imagine putting salt directly into your eyes — what would happen?
Salt in food irritates the stomach lining, prompting cells to protect themselves by secreting mucus, which over time accumulates and leads to gastritis.
(Other irritants such as polluted air, pepper, vinegar, and spices have similar harmful effects.)
Salt hinders the elimination of urea, laying the groundwork for gout, sciatica, rheumatism, and back pain.
As people age, their taste buds become desensitized and numb.
Salt causes tissues to shrink, dry out, and harden — mild rheumatism turns into gout, and those with weak lymphatic systems grow thinner and frailer.

Early North American Indians Did Not Eat Salt
Their ancestors used salt as a preservative, not as food.
The ancient Egyptians wrapped mummies with fat, spices, and salt.
When pigs and rabbits consume salt, their legs become paralyzed, and they can only crawl on the ground.
Humans are the only creatures that deliberately poison themselves — the only animals that consciously commit slow suicide!

Li Qingyun, 256 years old
Li Qingyun (1677–1933) lived through nine emperors and into the Republic of China.
His teeth fell out and regrew three times in his life (reference: stories of the old woman and Barbara, pages 100–101).
He was a vegetarian, consuming only alkaline fruits and herbs that grew above the ground.

The Body’s Age Never Exceeds Seven Years
From the softest tissue to the hardest bone, every part of the body regenerates itself once every seven years.Poverty is not the cause of disease or a short life.
Working in stifling, sweaty shops, filthy factories, or smoke-filled, poorly ventilated office buildings — these are the true causes of shortened life spans.

The Law of Vital Decline
When the body encounters harmful external forces, its vitality diminishes to prevent sudden death — thus extending its survival time.
Gradually, it moves toward death, enduring pain and suffering in a slow decline.
A person addicted to opium can later take a large dose at once — but if they had taken that much in the beginning, it would have killed them instantly.

Fasting and Breatharianism
Fasting experiments prove that vitality, energy, and minerals do not come from food but from cosmic radiation.
Four-fifths of the air we breathe is nitrogen. Inside the body, nitrogen combines with hydrogen in the digestive tract to form protein. The body cannot absorb nitrogen from protein-based foods — all of that nitrogen is excreted.
During fasting detoxification, symptoms like headaches, weakness, vomiting, and skin rashes may occur — don’t be afraid. These are normal signs of detoxification (similar to what occurs during deep meditation).
Overeating fills the body with toxins and disease, while fasting allows the body to cleanse itself naturally and heightens the sensitivity of all senses.
There are documented cases where tumors disappeared after thirty days of fasting.
